Everything is in walking distance of the Denton Square! WELCOME PARTY: Miss Angeline's (backyard) 125 E Oak St, Denton, TX 76201 CEREMONY & RECEPTION: Greater Denton Arts Council AKA the Patteron-Appleton Arts Center 400 E Hickory St, Denton, TX 76201
WELCOME PARTY: There isn't a parking lot dedicated to this space. Any parking spots around the Denton Square or street parking in the northeast corner of the square would be close by. You can find public parking (most are free, but keep an eye out for paid parking sections) in many places nearby: - https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y8trzNykvJV8WRo79 - https://maps.app.goo.gl/v6M8J26bE59924Cr6 - https://maps.app.goo.gl/opQ4wXS5dJFXN6qQ6 - https://maps.app.goo.gl/3wMNhHBdEkVuBZGP7 WEDDING: There should be plenty of parking in the venue's parking lot!
The Welcome Party will be a no-host situation. Minors are allowed with parental supervision until 9 PM (when the gathering ends). The location is neighbors with another great watering hole, Eastside, and guests are allowed to patron this establishment and bring their beverages to our area, but are encouraged to keep the majority of their patronage at Miss Angeline's. There is a food truck lot in the same general area which will be a great option for dinner for those needing one.
If you're flying in, we recommend renting a car or making friends with someone attending who has wheels! Unfortunately, the entire DFW area is sorely lacking in good public transit options. Once you're in Denton, everything is pretty close by but not necessarily in walking distance. Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful in the area, but feel free to learn about the local bus routes and try your luck with Denton's very affordable but fairly finnicky ride share service: GoZone
