The ceremony will be Saturday at 4pm. However, there will be events and fun had all weekend. If you want to come to the area early, there will be a Welcome party Friday evening. Please see the Schedule tab for more details.
No. While we would love to have everyone with us, our venue is very limited on space so we are unable to have extra people join our celebration. Babies two years old and under may not be listed on the invite but are welcome as they are not "counted" to our venue total. NOTE: Babies 2 years and under may not be listed on your RSVP but that doesn't mean they aren't invited! The venue does not count kids 2 & under towards the final head count, so we didn't include them in the RSVP list so we have a more accurate head count.
Please dress in Cocktail attire on Saturday. Don't be afraid to have fun with it! The rest of the events during the weekend will be casual.
There are multiple cabins on site, including shared bunk cabins and more private, historical bunk cabins. Most have bathrooms attached, some will need to use a shared bathhouse. We will assign you to your cabin and you can check in anytime after 4pm on Friday at Rosemary Inn. The total cost of the weekend will be $250 a person, including food, drinks, and accomodations. A rehearsal with the Wedding Party will take place before dinner on Friday. Anyone not in the wedding party is welcome to help themselves to dinner anytime between 5-7pm. Please RSVP for all the events you will be able to attend so we are able to plan accordingly. The provided linen package includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow and pillowcase, blanket, and bath towel. We recommend that guests bring extra pillows if they need more than one to sleep, extra towels if they want a beach towel for the lake, and any other things you need to have an amazing weekend. If you would prefer to stay elsewhere, no problem! Just text Phil or Alyssa to let us know and please be sure to RSVP "No" to Friday Dinner
As the venue is located off of Hwy 101 , no National Parks Pass is required! You should be able to freely access the area.
Olympic National Park is notoriously chilly and rainy. Please be sure to bring layers, rain coats, and appropriate footwear. The venue is grassy, but if it is raining it could get muddy! Fingers crossed for clear skies!
Please see the Schedule, Travel, and Things To Do pages on our website for recommendations and scheduled activities to help build your itinerary!
Olympic National Park only allows camping in designated areas. Our campus is not a designated camping area. The closest campgrounds are Fairholme Campground (approximately six to eight miles west of campus on Hwy 101), Shadow Mountain (approximately six to eight miles east of campus on Hwy 101), and Log Cabin Resort campground (approximately eight miles from campus on East Beach Road).
The gravel parking lot on site has space for about 40 vehicles. Overflow parking is available, but limited. Please plan to carpool if not staying on site or at Lake Crescent Lodge. During the wedding, staff parking and other areas that are loading zones only will be clearly marked.
The NatureBridge campus does not allow pets in any of the buildings. Dogs can be on leash on our campus and on designated trails. Please follow NPS guidelines regarding pets and service animals in the park.
If the weather is good, we recommend swimming from Barnes Point, a 5-minute walk from the campus. Swimming directly off the lakeshore is not encouraged, but not explicitly forbidden.
The weekend will include the use of two of NatureBridge's 17-person, Salish-style canoes Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This activity will be guided by skilled NatureBridge Educators. If the weather is not suitable for canoeing safely, Educators can take interested guests on a guided hike. PFDs and paddles are provided and required. A sign up sheet will be available at the Welcome Party.
There is a National Park Boat Launch near the Ranger Station. Please follow all National Park regulations for watercraft. SUPs & kayaks can be launched directly from NatureBridge's lakeshore. You will need to carry them down to the shore as there is not close parking to the lake. You can keep SUPs & kayaks on the shore all weekend to use at your leisure. Boats can be moored off the shore. Boats and other watercraft can load from the dock, but cannot be moored on the dock all weekend.
