When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The bride will be walking down the aisle at 3pm, so we advise you to be there by 2:40...remember it's about a 25 min drive from downtown Lisbon

Is the wedding and the reception happening at the same place?

Answer

Yes - the venue is booked from 3pm - midnight, and will host the ceremony, the reception and everything in between.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

No - we've been advised that Uber, Bolt and taxi options are so easy (and cheap) to come by that there's no need. For anyone with a rental car, there's the option to park at the venue.

What time do the wedding festivities end?

Answer

All guests will be kicked out at midnight, at which point the bride and groom will be nowhere to be seen. So, pick up those discarded shoes, order your Uber, and head home rest assured that you've given Katie & Phil the send off to married life they were hoping for.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Monday's wedding ceremony and reception are kids-free, but, Sunday's casual meet-up will be for all ages, so please feel free to bring them - just let us know in advance so we can make sure there's space.

Is there accommodation at the venue?

Answer

No - Quinta do Senhor da Serra does not have accommodation.

Question

If I want to stay near the venue, what are my options?

Answer

While there are guest houses nearby, we've been recommended the Pousada Palacio De Queluz, which is less than 10 minutes from the venue.

Are child minding / baby sitting services available?

Answer

Sure - we've the contact details for a recommended child minder to allow you to enjoy the day knowing your little ones are being well looked after and having lots of fun. Just let us know if you're interested, and we can put you in touch with any other guests in the same position.
