Maria and I met during our pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at SickKids in Toronto, Canada. She may have lost me once in the middle of the Andes mountains while skiing, but I know that she will always at least figuratively be by my side.

Caro was one of my co-residents but more importantly my ski instructor and one of the best travel partners. I know that whenever I get to see Caro that there will be adventure, laughter, and probably me falling.
