Pickney Island National Wildlife Refuge
This is a fun walk or bike ride for the family, we like to take walks with our kids or ride bikes. The gates open around 7am and close approximately at 6pm and you are asked to kindly leave your dogs at home. We have seen alligators, different birds and wildlife. You can go here free of cost.
Dafuski Island
Take a short ferry ride and visit historical Daufuskie Island. Long time Gullah culture and beautiful golf course. Very peaceful and quaint. Look up ferry rides from various ports around the island. The closest ferry port to the venue is the "Daufuskie Difference" off of Marshland and Simmons Road.
Savannah GA
Only an hour away from Hilton Head, Savannah Georgia has alot of history behind it, great views, shopping, and Breweries. Take a haunted ghost tour or a carriage ride. Its said to be The most haunted city in America.
