Valley Gem Sternwheeler
This historic paddle‑wheel riverboat offers gorgeous river views and gives you a totally different perspective on Marietta. It's definitely one of our favorite ways to hang out on the water! Tips: Parking is available under the Washington Street Bridge. There are different cruise options: short tours, lunch or dinner cruises, and even full-day lock‑tour trips.
Boaz Mini Golf
Our favorite mini golf course in the area! Scott usually beats Maria, but it’s always a blast and perfect for a fun afternoon with friends.
Williamstown Bridge Walk
One of our favorite activities! A scenic stroll across the Ohio River with beautiful views, perfect for a morning walk, sunset photos, or just enjoying the riverside breeze.
Peoples Bank Theatre
A historic theatre in downtown Marietta. It's a great evening plan if you want a cool spot to escape the heat and enjoy some entertainment! Tip: Check the schedule ahead of time as events can sell out fast.
Kreamy Kreations
One of our favorite ice cream spots in Marietta! Maria is a huge ice cream fan (she might even skip dinner for a scoop), so we highly recommend stopping by—you might even see us there!!
Lookout Point
One of our favorite spots for a scenic picnic! We enjoy grabbing subs from Huck’s Farm Market and enjoying a relaxing lunch with sweeping views of the valley. Great for a low-key afternoon, fresh air, and amazing photo opportunities.
Anderson Hancock Planetarium
A cool escape from the heat — take in a public show under the stars. Super atmospheric and low-key, and a really fun way to learn something new. Tip: Check the schedule ahead of time as events can sell out fast.
