We met in high school and officially started dating our senior year, just two weeks before the world unexpectedly shut down and we were sent home. What followed were six unforgettable months spent going on dates, taking day trips to the beach and Detroit Lake, and slowly falling in love. Soon after, life took us in different directions. Cian joined the Marine Corps, while Peyton began pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Oregon State. The next four years were filled with late-night FaceTime calls, handwritten letters, and weekend trips to Hawaii. It wasn’t always easy, but we knew what we had was worth every mile and every moment apart. Along the way, we each grew in our own ways—traveling, making lifelong friends, and building the foundation of the life we share today. Long distance challenged us, but it also strengthened our love in ways we never could have imagined. Now, six years and one beautiful baby girl later, we are overjoyed to be starting this next chapter together. We can’t wait to celebrate our marriage this summer.
