Dress Code

We’d love for our guests to dress up and celebrate with us! Formal Cocktail attire is encouraged, including dresses, jumpsuits, dress pants, button-downs, suits, or sport coats. Since the venue is outdoors, we recommend comfortable shoes for uneven ground. To complement our wedding colors and overall aesthetic, we kindly ask guests to avoid jeans, overly casual wear, athletic attire, and shades of red.

Are kids allowed?

Absolutely! We would love for your little ones to join us on our special day. There will be a kids’ table and play areas to keep them entertained throughout the celebration. For those interested, we’ll also have professional nannies available for hire during the wedding, so parents can relax and enjoy the evening stress-free. If you’d like more details or to reserve childcare, please let me know!

Will babysitting services be available during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! A nanny service will be available during the wedding to help ensure the kids are safe and supervised, particularly with the lake on property. If you’re interested, please let us know and we’ll send over the information and pricing. Families who choose to use the service will be responsible for the cost.

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

The closest major airport to Piney River Ranch is Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), located in Vail, Colorado, about 45 minutes from the venue. (Prices are usually more expensive here) Another great option is Denver International Airport (DEN), which is about 2.5–3 hours away. Flights into Denver are often more frequent and sometimes more affordable, but you’ll have a longer (and very scenic!) drive through the mountains. If you’re flying into Denver, we recommend renting a four-wheel-drive vehicle

If you’re staying somewhere other than our hotel room block, please let us know so we can coordinate a shuttle pick-up spot for you.

How do we get there?

Answer

We’ll have shuttles running from the hotels and designated meet-up location to bring everyone safely up to the venue. If you’re thinking about driving yourself — the road to the venue requires four-wheel drive and can get a little sketchy going up the mountain. So unless your car is built for adventure, we highly recommend hopping on the shuttle (especially if you plan on celebrating with a few drinks). Trust us, the view is worth the ride!

The venue is located at Piney River Ranch, which is about a 45–60 minute drive from Vail, depending on road conditions.
