Sunset Rock
One of James' favorite places to climb and run, plus the site of our engagement photos. There's hiking here too but not a lot of parking so go early or park at the lower lot by craven house! You can also go to Point Park (NP) for amazing views of the city.
Ross's Landing
Our first date! Visit the riverfront for some great views of Chattanooga.
Oddstory Brewing Co: Central
Where we first met! We were there for Run Club but no exercise is required. Big indoor-outdoor spot for a beer and a bite.
Stringers Ridge Park
More great hiking and great views of Chattanooga. One of Karissa's favorite spots.
Walden's Ridge Park
Great for biking, bouldering and hiking. The lower parking lot (Reads Lake Road) is just a short distance from our home in Red Bank.
Boulders at Old Wauhatchie
Our most frequent bouldering destination, Old Wauhatchie also has some hiking trails and can connect you to the Guild Trail up Lookout Mountain.
The Bitter Alibi
This is one of our favorite spots for a game of Guess Who, wonton nachos, and a tasty beverage. It's a bit of dive and make sure you enter through the basement like a local.
