It was a hot July night at Oddstory Run Club when we first exchanged just a few words. A few days later, James came across Karissa's profile on a dating app but Karissa had recently removed the app from her phone, in a predictable cycle of dating frustration! Over the next few weeks, James tried to catch her eye at Run Club while Karissa tried to work up the nerve to talk to him again, both without success. Finally, Karissa re-installed the app and found the long-ago message from James. After quickly texting her friend Jenny to share her excitement that she had a message from "Run Club Guy," Karissa headed down to the Tennessee River to meet James for a Riverfront Nights Journey cover-band concert. And what a journey it's been ever since!
