It was an easy "swipe right" when we read each other's profiles, and from the moment we started chatting, we knew we had something special. Our first date on March 15, 2023, at The Stillery was a total hit, especially when Becky showed up with Reuben Brats and a jar of homemade sauerkraut for Nate. Yep, he knew right then and there she was a keeper! Since then, we've filled our lives with so much fun, laughter, and memory-making while hiking, traveling, attending concerts, binge watching our favorite TV shows, and attending our favorite sporting events. Go Brewers! Go Pack Go! Nate even became a doggie dad to two standard poodles, Guinness and Harper! There is never a dull moment with those two around. In May 2024, we officially became homeowners and have been busy making our house a home ever since. Becky enjoys landscaping the yard, while Nate is determined to make the lawn look as good as some of the neighbors'. We've also been busy finishing the basement, which will include a rec room, an office for Nate, a bathroom, and a gym. We're looking forward to adding a wet bar in the future; it will be the perfect place to watch Packer football. Even though it's only been two years, we've already leaned on each other through thick and thin, celebrating all of life's joys and getting through the really tough stuff together. Having the love and support of a partner by your side truly makes all the difference. On May 3rd, while on a weekend getaway, Nate popped the question! We had just returned to the rental house after exploring Kohler for a few hours. Nate was about to ask Becky to sit down beside him when Becky, ever so thoughtfully, asked, "Do you want a cookie?" Not one to turn down a cookie, Nate replied, "Of course!" thinking the marriage proposal could wait just a few more minutes. We can't wait to become husband and wife on October 31, 2025! Our story is proof that true love is worth waiting for. We believe every step led us to each other, right when it was meant to be.
