To enter Portugal, you must have an up-to-date passport - no visas are required. For COVID-19 protocols, the situation is actively evolving. As of September 1, 2022, you do not need to present a negative COVID test, or your vaccination card - although we would recommend bringing it in case. Protocols are changing on a monthly basis so please check CDC guidelines as we near the event. Your airline will email you with more information as your flight approaches. More information can be found here: https://pt.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/
Ubers and taxis are common and safe in Portugal, and will be your easiest choice for transportation to and from the airport, as well as around town. If you plan to spend more time in Portugal, renting a car is also a very easy and viable option!
Rules and regulations change are subject to change, but as of June 2022, the US does not require any proof of vaccination or negative COVID test to reenter the United States. Please check the current status, listed on the US Embassy website, leading up to the wedding for updates: https://pt.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/
