When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request your response at your earliest convenience and the latest by February 1st. We hope to celebrate with each of you! If an RVSP is not received on your behalf at this time, unfortunately there will not be a reserved seat for you. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we would love for our family and friends to celebrate with us in style! The dress code is formal attire. For the ladies, we kindly ask you to wear a midi, or floor-length formal dress—feel free to choose any color, but please avoid any white or cream colors! Gentlemen, a suit/tux and tie is the perfect choice—just leave the jeans and gym shoes at home! We can’t wait to see you all looking your best on our special day!

Is there going to transportation?

Answer

We’re happy to let you know there will be transportation provided for the wedding! • Hotel to the Venue: A shuttle will pick up guests at 2:30 PM at the Delevan Hotel and take them to the wedding venue. • Venue to the Hotel: Shuttles will run continuously from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM to bring guests back to the hotel. If you do not plan to use the provided transportation, please make arrangements in advance with a designated driver or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and look forward to an incredible night!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Thank you for understanding!

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

We are hoping that it is outside! Please bring a jacket and blanket if needed. This is obviously dependent on the weather! 🤍

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love kids, we want this to be an adult only event! Come relax and party the night away without having to take care of your kids! Exception for our ring security.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

3:25 pm - no later please! If you do plan to arrive later, please note that you might not be able to get a seat at the ceremony and will have to stand off to the side. Thank you for understanding!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Hyatt Place Buffalo/ Amherst, which is about 18 minutes away from the venue! We also have a block at the Delevan Hotel and spa which is about 20 minutes away- this is where we are staying and where our rehearsal dinner will be. Make sure to let them know you’re booking for the Peterson wedding for a discount! They both have transportation from the airport as well!

Are there colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride. Such as whites, ivories and creams. Thank you!
