For those of you that may not know, Trey and Lauren actually grew up together in a literal village in small-town Illinois! Lauren moved to Alabama in eighth grade, but her junior high crush on Trey didn't go too far. Over the years, Trey and Lauren kept up with small talk around birthdays and holidays -- with some flirtatious conversations sprinkled in there every now and then. Life carried them through college and different seasons came and gone. Another birthday came around and Trey texted Lauren. Lauren replied and they had a small conversation going. If you ask Trey, he'll say he got busy with late nights and work, but if you ask Lauren, she'll say he ghosted her. After about a week of not chatting, Lauren decided to shoot her shot with a forward message in a coffee shop studying. Trey answered right away and the rest has been history! The couple did long distance for about 1 year filled with thousands of texts and hundreds of hours of FaceTime calls. Lauren's lease was coming to an end, so she decided to up and leave her home for the past ten years and move to the great state of Texas with Trey! Since then, they've built such a fun life and share their pride and joy, Henry, together. See the little stinker below!
