Liz Frampton

Maid of Honor

Liz and I both went to St. Thomas Grade School and became best friends in the 4th grade when we went to a "paddle and saddle" girl scout camp. We grew up together, and I even moved a quarter mile away from her freshman year of high school. We've played soccer, had many sleepovers, gone on vacations, spent days at the lake, shared a locker, and even went to the same college, M-I-Z! Liz is one of my oldest and truest friends, and I can't imagine my life without her. Fun fact about her: growing up she wanted to be a game show host! Now she is finishing up her Masters in Accounting at Mizzou and will start work at Ernst & Young next year in Chicago.

Arthur Hanley

Best Man

Arthur is the most senior member of the wedding party. He's earned his title of best man by texting Peter hourly over the years about the Cubs. Arthur is best known for coming home one day after work with a complete list of every Cubs player from 1998-2005. He is currently keeping a list of all of the groomsmen to determine the order they'll stand next to Peter on the wedding day. Arthur works for Allstate in Chicago and loves popcorn, Underdog, his wife Kate, and sons James and William.

MacKinsey Manning

Bridesmaid

MacKinsey (Mack, Big Mac, MackAttack, Macki) and I became BFFs in the first grade at St. Thomas and have been close ever since. Some of my best and earliest memories with her are when we would have sleepovers at her house and mattress surf down the stairs. Mack is a true superstar and world traveler. She attended the University of North Carolina where she was a cheerleader for 4 years and studied abroad in Prauge. Since then she's been to 4 different continents, recently moved to Atlanta GA, but still loves Peoria the most :) We share a deep love of chips and salsa, and I can't wait for her to stand by me on my wedding day!

Tom Hanley

Groomsman

Tom would be in the NBA if he was six inches taller and loves any opportunity to dunk on a 7 foot rim. He's best known for acting like a cheetah from ages 5-14. Tom attended the U of I where he met his wife, Kaitlyn. They currently live right next to Wrigley Field with their daughter, Evelyn (tiny Tom). Tom went on to medical school at SIU and is currently a radiology resident in Chicago at Rush University.

Julia Saak

Bridesmaid

Julia and I officially met during my freshman year of college at Mizzou when I sent her a message in GroupMe and asked if she wanted to be roommates sophomore year in the Alpha Chi Omega house. For the next 3 years we shared multiple tiny bunk rooms, clothes, food, stressful late nights, and countless memories. My college experience would 100% not have been the same without her. JuJu is one of the most loyal, driven, and thoughtful people I know. She is a forever friend, even though she thinks St. Louis is better than Chicago. She's now in her first year of medical school at Mizzou and is killing it! Dr. Saak!

Mike Hanley

Groomsman

Mike was a close runner up for Best Man, placing in the top 7. We're hoping he comes to Peoria for the wedding. Mike is best known for throwing a putter after missing 14 consecutive putts in a game of mini golf. He is quite the world traveler and has visited 16 countries. Mike attended the University of Notre Dame for undergrad and is currently in law school at Northwestern. He will start working next year with Skadden in Chicago.

Rose Gillespie

Bridesmaid

Rose is the cool older sister I never had. I remember the first time I met her I was SO nervous and wanted her to like me so badly. Now we talk almost daily and have weekly Bachelor viewing parties. Rose is hilarious, compassionate, loving, and isn't afraid to tell it how it is (a quality you need in a sister). We both agree that Peoria has the best Mexican restaurants and chips and queso is always a good idea. Rose is a sister to Peter, wife to Chris, and mommy to her two beautiful little girls, Madeline and Grace. Love you RoRo!

Matthew Hanley

Groomsman

Odds are Matty is asleep sitting up in a chair as you read this. He earned the nickname "Otis" after watching the movie Barnyard and declaring himself the lead cow. Matty is best known for beating Peter (and making him very upset) at stupid games that don't matter, such as table tennis, billiards, mario kart, and NBA 1998. Matty attends the U of I and majors in Engineering.

Elizabeth Hanley

E! Elizabeth is the youngest of the eight Hanley siblings and by far the coolest. I've know Eliz since she was 10 years old and have had the privilege of watching her grow up and into a beautiful young woman. Eliz has many likes and hobbies which include narwhals, volleyball/softball/basketball, playing games, making felt crafts, baking, bike rides, slip-n-slides, and being the favorite aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Eliz has already felt like my sister for the past few years, so this wedding is just making it official. E is currently a freshman at Peoria Notre Dame High School and a 3 sport athlete!

Mark Hanley

Mark the Shark is 17 years old and asks Mom to make him hash browns almost every night at 1130 p.m. He has a collection of over 50,000 baseball cards, and his childhood best friend is a stuffed animal dinosaur named Scooter. Mark's claim to fame was the time he was sitting next to Peter when Peter caught a foul ball at a Cubs game. Mark is a senior at Peoria Notre Dame High School and will be attending the University of Illinois this fall to major in Biology.

Kaitlyn Hanley

Bridesmaid

Kaitlyn is a best friend and sister all in one. We became close early on in my relationship with Peter and have stayed that way ever since. We have very similar life paths. We're both pediatric nurses, her husband Tom (Peter's brother) is a radiology resident at Rush, and Peter does medical research on pediatric cancer here in Peoria. I never hesitate to tell her anything, we could talk for hours and hours. Kaitlyn is thoughtful, loving, one of the strongest people I know, and such a role model for me. Chocolate chip cookies (and sweets in general) are her fav, and she's a stay at home mommy to her perfect daughter, Evelyn.

Chris Gillespie

Groomsman

Crispy G is Peter's brother in law. He still says the best moment of his life was hitting a three run homer in the Sectional Championship for the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes. He is an expert mushroom hunter and grill master. Chris works at Caterpillar and lives in Peoria with his wife, Rose, and daughters, Madeline and Grace.

Kate Hanley

Kate is one of my lovely soon-to-be sisters! She's a professional counselor and super mom! Kate runs marathons, is an expert baker and cookie decorator, loves coffee and la croix, and her stunning style resembles Kate Middleton. I've always admired Kate's class, ambition, and how great of a wife and mother she is to her two adorable boys, James and William. I can't wait to be sisters and to have you there on our wedding day!! (June weddings are the best!)

Will Pierce

This is Will's first time in a wedding, so we're expecting big things. Will is Lydia's younger brother and Peter's soon to be brother in law. Will is super pumped to finally be getting a brother, even though they are college rivals... I.S.Who?? He is a sophomore at Illinois State University and is studying business administration. He's also a St. Louis Cardinals fan, strike 2, but Peter and Will are buds anyways.

Madeline Gillespie

Princess Madeline is our lead flower girl! Madeline lovingly refers to us as "peterlydia" whenever addressing either of us. She knows we are a package deal. Madeline loves all princesses, dancing, playing Beauty and the Beast, and using her imagination to act out movies and stories. She is 4 years old and currently goes to St. Philomena's preschool!

James Hanley

James is the oldest of the nieces and nephews and is so excited to be a ring bearer! He is the biggest cubs fan you'll ever meet and could tell you all about the players. James loves baseball, Bradley Basketball, Wrigley field, and playing with all of his cousins. James is 5 years old!

Grace Gillespie

Grace is Peter’s goddaughter and the cuuutest thing ever. Grace loves Daniel Tiger, food (especially sweets), and her Uncle Peter. Grace is ONE, and we can't wait to see her walk down the aisle towards us! We love you Gracie girl!!

William Hanley

William, aka "scooter", is James's little brother! He has THE cutest giggly laugh. We love visiting William in Chicago and playing at the park! We can’t wait to see him in a mini tux, he will for sure steal the hearts of everybody in attendance. William is TWO!!

Evy is the littlest member of the wedding party! She is the cutest peanut and has the prettiest blue eyes. Evy is ONE and has started to master the art of walking, just in time for the big day! Evy lives in Chicago with her mommy and daddy, Kaitlyn and Tom. We love to visit her all the time!!
