The incredible Anschutz collection of American Western art is directly across the street from the Brown Palace. The museum is closed on weekends, but we have arranged a private tour on Friday from 3-4:30pm for up to 40 people. The museum needs a headcount one week in advance, so let us know if you can join us!
Red Rocks is not only the world's best concert venue, but also a beautiful place to explore during the day. Don't miss the Hall of Fame! There are some fun quick hikes nearby, like the 1.5 mile trading post trail, and the amphitheater is usually accessible as well. We recommend entering from the top of the venue.
There are endless options for beautiful hikes in the Denver and Boulder (Pete's hometown) area. Here's a list of hikes we like: https://dayhikesneardenver.com/top-10-hikes-near-denver/
Denver is full of amazing breweries to explore - we'd recommend starting in the River North (Rino) area, which has the densest concentration of breweries. One of our favorites is Bierstadt Lagerhaus, with amazing beers and fun games. This is also home of Ratio Brewing, O'Dell Brewing and 14er Brewing.
This place is particularly hard to describe - it's sort of like an interactive art museum meeting an escape room. It's likely to fill up so worth making a reservation well in advance, it's super unique and fun!
Made famous in the TV show South Park, Casa Bonita was a kitschy but iconic Denver Mexican restaurant featuring Cliff Divers, Mariachi Bands and more. After going out of business, the restaurant was purchased by the South Park creators, who've invested heavily in its renovation, including bringing in renowned chef Dana Rodriguez. This would make for quite the pre-wedding lunch destination! Reservations recommended.
