Yes. Because Sandra and I weren't able to celebrate with family two years ago at our venue in California, we will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary by renewing our vows! It just so happens that May 8, 2022 will also be Sandra's birthday...as well as Mother's day. We will be celebrating all the above.
We will be having a ceremony as originally planned. 2 years ago Sandra and I were able to have a backyard ceremony that was live-streamed online but we were not able to include everything we wanted such as Sandra's original wedding dress, flowers, etc.
As healthcare workers, both Sandra and I understand the concern for COVID-19. Both Sandra and I have had numerous patients diagnosed with COVID and several patients or patient's family members pass due to COVID. We highly encourage guests to be vaccinated in order to protect themselves and loved ones around them. However, there will be no enforcements on vaccination status. Therefore, it is highly encouraged for unvaccinated guests to receive COVID testing prior to arriving at the ceremony.
Because of our schedule, availability at the venue, and accommodations for travelling, we had to schedule our ceremony on a Sunday afternoon. We also wanted to schedule our ceremony as close to our original date in May as we could.
For families with kids under 10 years old we have allotted RSVP and meal requests on this website. There will be kids meal options that include chicken nuggets and fries. If you do not see these requests while making your RSVP, please leave a message and we will be able to plan. Thank you!
No. Because Peter and Sandra had a registry on their online wedding 2 years ago with most items already purchased, they are not having a formal registry. However, if you would still like to bring gifts, there will be a table at the ceremony.
