Rochester is a bit further west than Syracuse and further from Skaneateles (~1hr 20mins), but offers similar flight options, Southwest flights, and can sometimes be lower cost. Nonstop Options: In addition to all the options at Syracuse for mainline carriers, Rochester has direct options via Southwest from Baltimore and Las Vegas

The Sherwood Inn

The Sherwood is an 1800s inn and is right downtown in Skaneateles and on the public waterfront. The tavern is a great spot for a burger and a proper pint. Behind the Sherwood is an excellent bakery Patisserie. They also have several sister properties around town including the Packwood House, Arbor House and Village Inn.

This is a more rustic motel, but owned by the luxury hotel Mirbeau so rooms are clean and nice. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown.

A brand new hotel right outside of town- if staying here it is gorgeous and has pools, pickle ball &tennis courts, spa etc. Will need a rental car for this one!

This is a beautiful hotel modeled after Monet's garden in Giverny with an onsite spa, restaurant and wine bar. The rooms are French countryside themed and it's a quick 10 minute walk to the village of Skaneateles.
