ETIAS VISA
As of March 14, 2025, the ETIAS visa is NOT required for travel to EU countries in 2025! Starting in 2025, U.S. travelers may need to obtain an ETIAS approval before visiting any EU country. Rental Car
Hertz
Standard American rental car companies are available at the airport. We have used Hertz without any issues. Note1: It may not be necessary to rent a car if you are only staying in Mallorca for 3-4 days as taxis are readily available. Note2: Please ensure you have an international drivers license before arriving in Europe. You can pick it up at your local AAA for $20. Note3: Manual cars are available for rent (and are cheaper than automatic). Please ensure that you check the transmission type when you are setting up your rental car. Note4: Parking in Palma can be tricky. The hotel most hotels will direct you to local private parking lots where it costs around 30euro/day to park your car
