From 6-9pm on Thursday evenings, Higuera Street in downtown SLO becomes the best farmers market. We recommend getting some street corn and barbecue for dinner or picking up local fruit veggies for the weekend. We will see you there!
This is about a 15 minute drive outside of SLO but is our absolute favorite place for hiking, running, and looking in the tidepools. The Bluffs trail is a great flat option along the coast. Check out the sand dunes while you are out there as well!
Also known as Madonna Mountain. This is the closest one of the '7 Sisters,' a chain of volcanic plugs that runs from downtown San Luis Obispo to Morro Bay. There are lots of great trails on Cerro San Luis as well as on its neighbor Bishop Peak.
This sandwhich shop was our first stop after getting engaged!
Great casual Mediterranean food for a quick lunch or dinner.
Where Emily worked in college, the Anholm Sweet Home is our favorite!
Great sit-down pizza (including gluten-free dough)
Great pizza right next to La Quinta Inn. Pop over for a slice!
Great donuts served 24/7. Don't be surprised if you see us there after the reception.
The rooftop bar at hotel SLO is one of the best places downtown to grab a drink and watch the sunset.
