Question

When and where is the ceremony?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at the Mount Lorne Community Centre, which is about 30 minutes south of Whitehorse. The ceremony will begin at 2pm on June 27th.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

At this time we plan on offering a shuttle service from the venue back into town at the end of the night. If you foresee yourself needing a ride to the ceremony, please let one of us know.

Can I camp at the community centre?

Answer

Yes! Our venue allows up to 10 RVs or trailers to camp from Friday through Sunday, as well as unlimited tents. Please note that besides the washrooms in the community center, there are no amenities there.

Is the ceremony and reception outdoors?

Answer

The plan is to spend the majority of the time outside. The community centre has a beautiful wooden gazebo that will be spacious enough to seat everyone for dinner. As long as the weather cooperates and the bugs aren’t too bad, we’ll be out there. That being said, the community centre offers a sheltered spot to nurse babies, store bags, and use the washroom! Highly recommend bringing something comfie to change into if you plan on partying all night.

Is there a vegetarian option?

Answer

For those who don’t eat meat, our caterer offers a tasty falafel and hummus alternative. You will be able to choose which you prefer when you RSVP.

You can RSVP through our website, but if you have any issues feel free to reach out to us. Please let us know as soon as you can so we can plan accordingly.

Are there hotel room blocks available?

Answer

We've reserved hotel room blocks at both the Yukon Inn and Raven Inn. Several discounted rooms are available at each, and they will be released 30 days prior to the wedding if not booked.
