Strongly recommended! Alta is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in NYC. We visit here annually, most commonly to celebrate Peter's birthday. This is a great option if you are looking for an authentic and local NYC experience. Best suited for groups of 4-6.
An occasion to celebrate? You'll find us at this neighborhood spot. Strongly recommend a bottle of Delamotte Brut. And - if they have the risotto on the menu - get it!
This is where we went on our first formal date, and it's a place we visit often! Fantastic food with exceptional service. Try the Lychee Martini.
Admittedly, Buddakan is a bit of a scene, and you might recognize some of the decor from Sex in the City. But it is a fun one, especially for a girls' night out! We strongly recommend the edamame dumplings.
Danielle lived in the East Village her first seven years in NYC and Veselka was a staple! Danielle's favorite? The vegetarian plate: two cheese pierogi, two potato pierogi, one meatless (rice with sauerkraut and mushrooms) stuffed cabbage with mushroom gravy, and a side of sour cream. Yum, yum, yum!
Peter grew up in Cobble Hill, and Buttermilk Channel is a local favorite! They are known for their buttermilk fried chicken (for good reason!). Save room for dessert because you won't want to miss out on their banana-chocolate bread pudding.
Looking for Italian in Carroll Gardens? Frankies is a wonderful spot near the neighborhood Peter grew up in. They offer a classic Brooklyn experience, with a great backyard garden for outdoor dining.
Fantastic Mexican food with a Wonderful View of NYC!
Headed to Dumbo? Check this place out. This is a favorite for casual dinner and great margaritas!
A fantastic Japanese dining experience. This is a great option for a memorable meal.
