Altos de Chavon is a recreated 16th-century style village atop the Chavon River. The views are incredible and it is worth seeing during the day if you have time. You will see it the night of the wedding as well. There are boutique shops, museums, artisan classes and a few good restaurants to grab a bite or a drink! Chilango Taqueria and La Piazetta are in the package and some of our favorite restaurants.
Be sure to visit the Marina as it is filled with fun shops, great restaurants, an ice cream shop, and a little grocery store. Restaurant recommendations in the Marina that are part of the package: Causa La Casita SBG is another great option, although since it is privately owned it is not part of the package. Reservations are recommended everywhere.
If you like to play golf, Casa de Campo is your place. There are three Pete Dye golf courses and a great practice facility available to resort guests. ***When booking The Links or Dye Fore courses please reference the wedding party to receive a discount.
