Weather and Sun Protection

Answer

The weather is tropical. During the day the sun will be blazing. High 80s during the day and 70s at night. Make sure to bring SPF, hats, sun glasses and rash guards. We have learned the hard way and we tan easily. And bring a cute jacket, long sleeve shirt or shawl to avoid feeling chilly while zipping around on your golf cart at night.

Dress Code

Each event has it's own dress code. Welcome Beach Party - Beach chic with sand appropriate shoes. Coctail, Ceremony and Reception - Cocktail chic. Please wear black, white or red. No stilettos, you will thank us later. A stacked heel, wedge or flat is recommended. Thanks for Coming Dinner - Beach chic. Go wild with those stilettos if you choose!

Transportation While at Casa De Campo

Answer

You will drive your golf cart everywhere (expect the night of the wedding) The beach, marina and other activities are all a 10-15 golf cart ride. Bring a cute jacket or shawl as well since you will get chilly at night on the golf cart. There is designated golf cart parking everywhere. In some places, like at the marina, you will have the option to get on a taxi golf cart once you park or you can walk at your leisure. TRANSPORTATION FOR EVENTS: *Welcome Beach Party - Drive your golf cart. There are designated areas to park at Minitas Beach. It's fun! *Cocktail, Ceremony and Reception - Do NOT drive your golf cart. There will be transportation provided to and from the hotel for the festivities. Transportation will leave promptly at 4:30 from the main hotel lobby for the cocktail hour, ceremony and reception. Park your golf cart at the main hotel lobby and jump on the bus! *Thanks for Coming Dinner - Drive your golf cart. There will be designated areas to park at the marina.

Are my kids invited and/or can I bring a guest?

We love you and we love your kids, but please refer to your invitation. If your invitation includes your kids names or "and guest" then yes, if not then we prefer it's just you.

Do we need to give them a gift?

Answer

Absolutely not! We are so honored that you will be spending your time and money traveling to the Dominican Republic to celebrate us, and that is the best gift we could ask for. The memories will last a lifetime for us and hope they will for you too!

Do I need to stay in the room block?

Answer
