Hiking
There are lots of trails in and just outside of Red Wing. You can experience beautiful views of the river from Memorial Park or Barn Bluff. Or walk along the river on Riverfront Trail.
Dining, Breweries, and Wine
So many coffee shops. So little time. We like Mandy’s for a great morning coffee or tea or an afternoon snack. Red Wing Brewery features craft beer, root beer, pizza, and calzones. Falconer Vineyards & Winery has a very pretty location, a tasting room showcasing its award-winning wines, and a wood fire oven that turns out yummy pizzas. St. James Hotel. Check out the restaurant options at the St. James Hotel. Some have great views of the river while others feel like you’re in a 1920’s Speakeasy. Just dessert? Check out the Pie Place Cafe for, well, pie! It’s located in the Historic Pottery Place on Old West Main Street. They also serve breakfast and lunch.
