Welcome to New York and the Husdon Valley! We're so excited you're here! There's loads to do in the area, but if you want to catch a train to the Big Apple, there's trains at these Locations: -Poughkeepsie Station -New Hamburg Train Station (Wappingers) There's also a shuttle from Stewart Airport that will take you to directly to Manhattan. If you want to venture further north, the Woodstock Museum at in the Catskill Mountains is grand! You'll get a taste of Appalachian culture there. One of the best attractions in the 845 is the FOOD! You'll want to try some New York classics whilst you're here. Especially the Pizza. Beacon is a really fun small hipster city with lots of fun local shops and eateries to browse, and you can visit Bannerman castle. The venue itself is a Museum for the chap who invited Moorse code, Samuel Moorse himself! The Vanderbuilt Mansion/Park and the FDR House are a lovely day out. Pizza Village

Authentic NY Pizza. There'll be pently to choose from when you visit, but this was my favourite growing up.

Noble Pies Beacon

137 Main Street, Beacon, NY 12508

This is the Pie Shop that will be doing the desserts at our Party! If you want to Pop in for seconds before you go, Christie's shop is in nearby Beacon! They've got classic British favourites like Chicken Tikka Pies, as well as American favourites like Pumpkin and Key Lime!

Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site

119 Vanderbilt Park Rd, Hyde Park, NY

The park is free but you'll have to pay to visit the mansion. The FDR house is nearby as well!

Bannerman Castle

Bannerman Island, Beacon, NY 12508

Colonial to Edwardian Era Castle. I won't spoil it for you. ;) They do a Burns Night as well!
