Back in 2016, Pete was working as an account manager at Google. Katie was one of his clients, and every few weeks we would meet over the phone to discuss advertising. There was immediate chemistry – Katie found Pete incredibly charming, and Pete loved Katie's marketing smarts. We finally met in person and began dating shortly after!

In May 2021, we were in Hawai'i with two friends, on our way to a fancy dinner. Since we were all dressed up, we decided to make a pitstop at the beach to take group photos. Once we got to the beach, our friends conveniently disappeared. Out of nowhere, Pete whipped out his guitar and serenaded Katie with a beautiful song. After he popped the question, he pointed out a photographer who had hid in the bushes and captured the whole thing! We had a surprise engagement photo shoot, then continued on to our fancy dinner and celebrated with our crew.
