Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Pete Levine and Jen Trinkaus-Randall
Why go to Disney Land when you can go to the place that Disney Land was based off of?!? That's right, come visit us in Fort Collins Colorado, where the most "Magical Place on Earth" draws it's inspiration! Jen and I are excited to show you around our new home and have plenty of suggestions of things to do in and around Fort Collins from lakes, rivers, and hikes to more breweries than I can count. www.coloradobrewerylist.com/brewery_city/fort-collins/ Walking or biking/e-scooter (spin) are the best ways to get around town.

New Belgium Brewing Company

500 Linden Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 221-0524

This is the original and flagship brewery for New Belgium which has distribution from coast to coast. Located a 10 minute walk from Old Town, this place has a wonderful outdoor area for all to enjoy

Odell Brewing Company

800 East Lincoln Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 498-9070

Now a brewery AND a winery! Located 10 minutes from Old Town and just around the corner from New Belgium, most people hit these two breweries back to back

The Exchange

200 North College Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 645-3153

A fun outdoor area with food options in shipping containers and a common consumption rule in place that allows everyone to mingle regardless of where you choose to eat. This area was developed by the company Pete first work for in Fort Collins

Old Town Square

Old Town Square, Fort Collins, CO 80524

Old Town Square!

Horsetooth Reservoir

CO

A large reservoir just a 15 minute drive outside of town. Stunning views of the mountains and it will give you a feeling of being in the West

Lory State Park

708 Lodgepole Drive, Bellvue, CO 80512
, (970) 493-1623

A lovely State Park just on the opposite side of Horsetooth Reservoir. Great views with both leisurely and strenuous hikes. Go up to Arthurs Rock, or Horsteooth Rock in the neighboring Horsetooth State Park for great views of Fort Collins & the Front Range pat the foothills and

Poudre River & Trails

This is the river that runs through town and is an easy walk from Old Town. There are MILES of connected paved walking trails, bike paths, and natural areas. It is also a very popular spot for fly fishing, both in town and up the Poudre Canyon. There are tubing opportunities down the river in spring and early summer, however the water level is likely to be too low in August.

Funkwerks

1900 East Lincoln Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 482-3865

Fun Funky sour beers

Silver Grill Cafe

218 Walnut Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 484-4656

Started in 1933 this is the oldest restaurant in Fort Collins and is a phenomenal brunch spot. Try to get there before 9:30 on weekends as the wait list gets very long very quickly. You'll need to go home with some cinnamon rolls

Lucile's

400 South Meldrum Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521
, (970) 224-5464

Fantastic Louisiana breakfast/brunch option. Just make sure that you have a slow day planned as a post meal nap could be in your future.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

144 West Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 482-9253

Jen was upset to find out this wasn't a local diner, but rather a chic chain throughout the Southwest. Good food options located right in downtown Fort Collins

Choice City Butcher & Deli

104 West Olive Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 490-2489

The best Deli in town and my go-to sandwich stop. Also was rated best FC Restaurant for beer 9 years in a row!

Yampa Sandwich Company

140 North College Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 482-6913

Another good sandwich shop -- a bit lighter than Choice City Deli

Lee Martinez Community Park

600 North Sherwood Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521
, (970) 221-6660

Located just around the corner from our house, this Park has direct access to the Poudre River and is where we have our daily walks with Loki! I personally call it Pedro Martinez Park, but nobody here in Colorado understand my joke : ( Oh, and there's also a farm animal component for kids?

Union Bar & Soda Fountain

250 Jefferson Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524
, (970) 825-5558

A huge outdoor area and a great place to hang out during the summer

, (970) 493-4404

Started in 1909, the oldest Bar in Fort Collins, true dive bar, and the prepostgame beer spot for Pete's winter basketball team. Poured the first New Belgium Beer ever and almost closed before a Gofundme raised $100k to save it.

Various Old Town Restaurants

Too many to count and to individually list. Below are some of our favorites in Old Town: -Jax Fort Collins (good fish) -The Regional -Uno Mas (Tacos) -Blue Agave -Jay's Bistro -Restaurant 415 -Taj Mahal (Indian) -Rare Italian & Sonny Lubick Steakhouse (2 Steak options)

Rocky Mountain National Park

CO

A great option for an extended stay in the area. Rocky Mountain National Park is an hour and a half drive from Fort Collins and has stunning mountain views, meadows, lakes, and wildlife. If you're planning to visit, go to their reservation system to pick an entrance time as they began limiting the number of daily visitors

For all the days along the way
