That is Longs Peak, the tallest mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park, and one of 58 peaks over 14,000 feet in Colorado, the most in the continental United States. Last August, Jen and I started our hike at 2am and summited a few hours after sunrise. We hobbled back to the car around 2pm. 58 people have died climbing this mountain, yet Jen thought it would be a good idea to hike it with old tennis shoes with absolutely zero grip. We immediately bought her hiking shoes the next day :)
