In between selling big screen tv's, video games, and digital cameras, Cayla and Mike met while working seasonal jobs at their local big box electronics store. They also both attended Millersville University and lived only a few minutes apart... and thanks to a shared love of Phineas and Ferb, great music, and being a little too competitive at Jeopardy, the two found that they enjoyed spending time together on and off the clock.

Mike and Cayla had been together almost 8 years when they finally got engaged... which happened on a total whim when getting sized for rings one afternoon in Hershey. There was no expectation that they were planning on buying a ring that day as they originally had left the house for lunch and a new pair of sneakers... but sometimes, the timing is just right. They didn't need the shoes anyway... ;)
