Matron of Honor
Katie and I (often referred to as “Katy Perry”) have been friends for 15 years and are truly sisters and best friends. We not only went to Ursuline together, but also TCU, and then lived together our first year out of college. We even got our fur babies at the same time while living at the Villa Rosa, Lucca (my sweet kitty) and Nala (her sweet pup). See the photo slideshow at the top of the “Picture Gallery” tab for an adorable picture of the two of them cuddling. There is no one who has been through more life stages together, and it has made our friendship one of a kind. We have the absolute best time together no matter what we’re doing. Whether it be concerts in high school, parties in college, or girls wine nights nowadays, it is a guarantee that we will be laughing and in good spirits. The best thing about Katie though, is her undying loyalty. Anytime you need her, she is right there and will always make the time for you. Even when she has a job (lawyer), another job (spin instructor), a husband (Miles), a dog (Nala), a child (sweet little George), anddd lives 180 miles away. Fun fact….While I didn’t cry when Bobby popped the question (sorry bobs), I did cry when I saw Katie at the celebration our families threw us after we got engaged. It was family only, but Katie sneakily worked with my mom to be there and surprise me. That meant the world to me and I think that truly says it all. Love you friend!
Best Man
Dearest Brother! As many of you know, Ryan and I have been brothers for my entire life! While he had three years as the youngest member of clan Valek, he could never have imagined how fortunate he would be when his blond younger brother came around :). Like many with an older brother, I spent a significant amount of my childhood watching him play video games and then, when we were able to play video games with each other, he was always much better than I and so I spent many hours getting beat by him in various games. Despite the competition between us, we did join hands to do the most impressive feat of our childhood. When my sister, Tori, locked us in the closet, we used a bar in the closet to knock the door off its hinges and break free from our confinement (I can't remember if the parents were more annoyed or impressed by our feat)! From those years, we both went to Jesuit. During this time, we focused in on different aspects of high school life but we always had the 30 minute car-drive together in the morning. When he graduated, he went off to TCU and we spent the next 7 years in different cities but we also stayed close and in touch (along with sister Tori). Eventually, I returned to Dallas from school and we were both back in Dallas again. Since Perry and I started dating, Ryan has always been supportive of the two of us and welcomed Perry into the family with open arms. While Ryan won't lead the charge to the dance floor, you can be his moves will be memorable!

Tori is my soon to be sister-in-law and I could not be more excited! As an only child, I always wanted an older sister, and now I’ll finally have one!! When Bobby first introduced me to his family, he told me Tori was going to be the trickiest one to get on board. So naturally, based on his fair warning, I went into the situation intimidated of her. However, what I quickly learned was Bobby was just being dramatic haha. Tori has treated me like a member of the family since day 1 and I am so grateful. I love that our sense of humor is very similar in that it’s both dramatic and sarcastic haha. Truly, I lucked out. There’s no better future sister in law and Bobby and I cannot wait for more adventures with her and Chris!
Groomsman
Chris is my brother-in-law! Husband of Tori, Chris entered my life around 3 years ago when he started coming over to family events with Tori. While it's never easy coming to a Sunday family lunch, especially with our family; Chris quickly came out his shell with us and he was even more welcoming when Perry joined the scene. He and Perry quickly became my mother's favorites when they both exclaimed their love of mushrooms (which us Valeks hate) and how he, like Perry with me, is trying to get Tori to expand her culinary likings as well. Tori and Chris got married in January and we all saw his dance-floor skills come out and so on our wedding night, you can bet Chris and Tori will tear up the dance floor!

Nikki is my cousin, but honestly she is more like a sister. We are 18 months apart and both only children, so naturally we have always done everything together. Our family knows the two of us could not be more different, yet we bounce off one another and have this hilarious and uniquely special bond. Nikki is my OG partner in crime. Some of my favorite memories are traveling with her through Italy and our annual trips to the Caymans. We have declared that one day we will become Caymanian citizens and buy a joint house on the beach…so stay tuned for that. Between weddings and ND, we’ve had no shortage of reasons to go to Chicago over the past 3 years. It has been so fun to make multiple appearances at the Pijon residence and watch Nikki so easily bond with Bobby, almost like he was already a member of the family. During our wedding weekend, you will likely hear my Uncle Ray refer to Bobby as the “water boy” due to his wildly high water intake while staying at the Pijon residence. In the words of Bobby.... "team hydration".

Connor and I became friends back during our Jesuit days, which Perry affectionately remembers as our "bowl-cut days." There is definitely a picture or two in the photo section for anyone who wants to judge for themselves. In those early days, Connor and I spent our time doing Wingstop Wednesdays, eating at Varsity Grill, and a variety of other memories. During that time, Connor probably heard the most about Perry of the people in this list and was always supportive. Post high school, Connor went to UT and I ND, but we both eventually made it back to Dallas. While no longer having Wingstop Wednesdays (we'ved matured to ramen), Connor and I still see each other frequently and he remains a main supporter of Perry and I. Come the wedding night, Connor is a big fan of the Chainsmokers band and so if they come on, expect to see him on the dance floor!

Christina and I became friends our sophomore year of high school (14 years ago) when we were on the Jesuit Rangerettes dance team together… aka “Rettes”. Christina likely has the most tea on my early love for Bobby. The special thing about our friendship is that it has always had absolutely zero filter, which has made it both hilarious and genuinely authentic. Because of that, we share it all...including the most ridiculous of things. Those who have seen us together know that when you get us going, we are a dynamic duo. Even if others don't think we're funny, we know we're hilarious. We will crack each other up to the point where we laugh so hard that we cry. From heart to hearts in the Jesuit parking lot, to girls nights with a movie and some Grimaldi's pizza, to workouts at Grit & TruFusion, Christina has always been an amazing partner in crime.

Chris and I became friends back when we were five years old and lived across the alley from each other. Back then, Chris was over all the time and became part of the family. He was there playing soccer in the side yard with my cousins Ty and Cole. He ran from the tyrant older sister (Tori), when she tried to put makeup and nail polish on us with her friends. And he also was there when our old dog Spot would get out of the house and we would then run through the neighborhood trying to get him back. From those days, we continued on to Jesuit together and he ultimately went to TCU with Perry. Chris, along with his wife Maddie (who went to Ursuline with Perry!), now both are back in Dallas just like Perry and I. They currently have terror of dog, Frank, while we have our terror (angel) of cat, Lucca. Since we started dating, we've hung out with Chris and Maddie at many TCU events and look forward to many to come! We've been fortunate to have Chris in our life and we look forward to you all meeting him! Come our wedding day, make sure to ask him about his famous dance "the Baby Lotion!"

Laurel and my friendship began 2 years ago while working at Merrill Lynch. During one of the weekly WebEx meetings held for our advisory program, the program director introduced a new girl who had just moved here from Georgia. Laurel was then forced to give an awkward introduction where she mentioned that she had graduated from college in 2016 and had gotten her designation as a Certified Financial Planner during Covid. Naturally, I determine she was my twin because I also graduated in 2016 and had also gotten my designation as a Certified Financial Planner during Covid. Not yet having this new girl’s number or having yet met her (since we were still working from home at this point), I decided to immediately email her and inform her that we were going to be best friends. Luckily, she didn't think I was a pscyho. We then decided to meet (in person) for happy hour at HG Supply....and yes it did feel like an awkward first date while waiting for her to join me at the table. Happy hour turned into dinner and 5 hours later it was like we were kindred spirits who had known each other for years. Pretty much every hangout since has been a minimum of 5 hours and the rest is history!

Tim and I became friends during our grade school days at Prince of Peace. While Chris may have been one of the first people I ever played basketball with, Tim is someone who I definitely played more with. At POP and elsewhere, we played on countless teams together and yet, somehow, the only championship we ever won together was a three-on-three tournament at Jesuit (with Connor and where we mainly won ebcause it was the inaugrual season and not many participated). Throughout high school, we spent a snow day up here in Plano together, we spent a day finding golf balls for the Jesuit Magis tournament and then countless other moments. While he went to OU and I ND, we both made our way back to Dallas. Here in Dallas, Tim, with his wife Taylor ("Taymo"), have been a huge part of Perry and I's life. They lived down the hall from me at CityPlace and so we had those random moments when we would see each other. Come our wedding day, there will be no one on the dance floor who knows how to dance with suspenders as well as Tim!

Sarah and I became friends 10 years ago. We met when we were both accepted into the Neeley Leadership Program at TCU (second semester freshman year). However, our true bonding occurred when we went to some fraternity mixer together our sophomore year and proceeded to take the dance floor like no one else was watching. That was the first moment I realized we were a dynamic combination and going to be lifelong friends. Sarah then became "Siracha" and I became "P-Money". Ever since, we were attached at the hip and partners in crime. One of my favorite times with Sarah was starting the tradition of going to get margaritas before our Wednesday night Investments class. I don't think either one of us would've sanely made it through that class without the assistance of Los Vaqueros. There is no one more loyal that Siracha. From our traveling adventures to Chicago, London, Scotland, Napa, and Cabo, Sarah is always up for a good time. She has never met a stranger she hasn't wanted to befriend, so if you don't already know Sarah, I guarantee you will by the end of our wedding weekend!

It all started when Ryan and I took on London together second semester junior year. World travelers we were. As roommates, we explored London's pubs, museums, and jazz clubs. That semester, we went to Krakow, Budapest, Vienna and more and since then, we've traveled to Idaho, Punta Cana, and more journeys. During those journeys abroad, Ryan and I enjoyed a sense of silliness together and had one motto: If something looked cool, we would walk toward it until we couldn't. While being a SoCal guy at heart, Ryan spent a few years back in Orange County but now calls Austin his home with his wife Kim, who also went to Notre Dame with me. Being so close, Ryan and I see each other fairly frequently where we get to discuss our ultimate goal, a trip to the Paris of East, Riga Latvia! One thing that Ryan has always embodied is that the best dancers, dance alone and I'm sure, you'll see his dance moves on our wedding day!

Ryan and I first met our sophomore year at TCU, but junior year is when our friendship really took off. I met Ryan through Sarah...Sarah was a duo with Ryan and Sarah was a duo with me, so naturally it was only a matter of time before these duos merged into a trio. I don't think anyone had more fun together our senior year of college than the three of us. Ryan is always up for joining me on the dance floor or cheering for (*sometimes screaming at) TCU football. Since graduating we've had countless adventures living in Dallas together, going to Grit, and taking our first trio trip (out of the state of TX) to Napa. I've often told Ryan she is like the sister I never had because of how similar we are and I am so grateful for her friendship. Ryan first met Bobby when we threw a joint Olympics themed birthday party. Within a few hours of knowing him, she told me that she saw us getting married and that Bobby and I just made complete sense. That was the first time anyone had told me that and it was in that moment that I knew she was right. Bobby absolutely loves "Red" and possibly wishes she still lived in Dallas even more than I do. Nothing is more fun than when Ryan comes to visit and we get to have her stay with us at the townhouse!

Scobee and I met back during our college days in Sorin. Starting sophomore year, Scobee and I were quasi-rooomates and were together for most of our football games, meals, and everything in between, even though he was a chemical engineer and I was in accounting. Along came senior year, when we became housemates in Corby row. We'd go to Brothers and Finnis far too often but also had many moments handing out around our house. During my masters in account year, despite living in Madison, it still felt like Scobee was my roommate because he came back for every game that year. Eventually I moved to Dallas, but fortunately, Scobee wasn't far behind and he also moved down here with his now wife, Clare. Scobee's one of my best friends and I couldn't have imagined the past decade without and I know we have many more memories to come!
Bridesmaid
Anna and I met during our time working at Accenture. I was the only girl analyst before Anna joined a year later. When she first started, I didn’t know how I felt about sharing my space in the group with another girl. However, I decided to give her a chance and quickly discovered she was awesome and we were going to be best friends. Ever since, we have been thick as thieves. Anna is actually a key player in our story and a crucial part of why we are here today. See what many may not know, is Anna had been scheming with me to get Bobby’s attention months before we started dating. Many plotting sessions were had in Anna’s car before going to hang out with our friend group, and many confidence boosting texts were sent before I asked Bobby to walk to LDU to get coffee with me. She was probably as invested in us as I was haha. Like the incredible friend she is, she was determined to help me get my chance. Anna is another one of those friends where we just bounce off one another. Our friendship can go from serious to silly and no matter what the vibe may be, we are always there to support one another and have the best of times together.

Kittens and I have been friends since freshman year of college in our dorm, Sorin. Within Sorin is where Kittens got his nickname "Kittens." While you might be thinking there is some amazing story about that nickname, you would be disappointed. Our first week in college, we had a dorm party where some random senior decided he was "Kittens" and it stuck. From there, I helped introduce him to his now wife, Kat, and our friendship continued. For the first three years, he was the Pre-Med kid and I was business kid who didn't study as much, according to him. Senior year, we became housemates, in which we lived in a house with slanted floors, but wouldn't change it out for anything. Since graduation, Kit-Kat (as they are known) spent some time in Austin before moving up to Chicago and finally back down to Dallas! Over the past decade, Kittens has been one of my closest friends and with his recent purchase of home a few blocks from Perry and I, let the Brotterhood continue!

Cookie and I became friends while working at Accenture. We were both in corporate finance, but worked in different roles that sat at opposite ends of the office. It wasn’t until a pumpkin painting Women in Finance event that we became friends. Since then, she has become one of my best friends and my favorite happy hour buddy. It has been so fun to double date with her and Michael over the years and we love our time with them. What many may not know, is that Cookie is also a key player in our story. During our time at Accenture, we formed an Accenture girls crew that includes myself, Anna, Cookie, Baeley, and Teryn. Although none of us still work there (minus 1), we still hang out all the time. One weekend, we went to brunch at Taverna and somehow I started talking about Bobby and the idea that I thought there could be something there. All the girls humored me with support (even though Bobby and I weren’t talking at the time). However, Cookie, having my back and being a protective friend who didn't want to see me get hurt, asked a question I will never forget… “is he a temporary distraction or is he end game?” My response… END GAME. It’ll be 4 years since this conversation happened, and I’m excited to confirm that we really are end game 🥰

During my freshman year, Austin and I became friends based on one fact: we were both from Texas. Naturally, as two freshman in small town northern Indiana, we leaned into our Texas-ness and went to a Texas themed barbecue our first week on campus and have been friends ever since. As we were both accounting majors, we spent our main four years at Notre Dame together; but then also had our bonus masters fifth year. While both Texan by choice (Austin is in fact from South Carolina), Austin ended up spending a couple years in Chicago before he ultimately moved back to Texas and currently lives in Dallas near Perry and I. Since Perry and I started dating, Austin has been one of the best at making her feel like she was part of our crew. Early in our relationship, I had a dinner that I had to go to and Austin, knowing I was at this dinner, invited Perry to hang out with him and Scobee as they went to a brewery. I left my dinner to countless selfies of Austin, Perry, and Scobee. Since that day, Austin has been and key part of Perry and my life. From bachelor watches, TCU game watches, or various bar crawls, Austin has been there. On our wedding day, make sure to seek our Austin as he will have some of the most stories of Perry and I from our relationship!

Marina and I met 10 years ago at TCU. We were both lost transfer students who no one wanted to befriend (NOT because we weren't great, obviously, but because everyone had already made their friends during the Fall semester). As such, we stuck together and ended up forming a lifelong friendship. At TCU we were roommates our Sophomore and Senior year. When we graduated, we both moved to Dallas and lived in Villa Rosa, so it was like our TCU days never ended. Mar is the friend who will be by your side to both work hard and play hard. Many a hours were spent slaving away together in the basement of the TCU library, only to be followed by a quick change and a fun night out. Following the trend of the other bridesmaids, Mar heard all about Bobby throughout college and even met him a few times along the way. Nothing was better than reintroducing Mar to Bobby when we went up to Chicago for the Notre Dame/Wisconsin game. I don't think anyone was more happy for us than she was. She has been one of our biggest hype girls along the way and our day would not be the same without her!

Keff and I became friends back during our Jesuit days. Back during high school, you could find us spending our nights scaring ourselves with scary movies and heading to the annual Wildflower Festival in Richardson. Because of Will, I have more memories of watching Arkansas baseball games than Notre Dame games, even though I don't think I ever fully called the hogs with him. Recently, we've both made our ways back to Dallas. Since Perry and I started dating, Will (and his wife Anna) have been with us throughout our relationship as one of our most frequent double date friends. We've continued our love of movies and gone on movie dates at Alamo Drafthouse. We've shared many espresso martinis and we've spent countless weddings sitting next to each other. I'm so fortunate to have Will with me on my wedding day and I want to make everyone aware that they will soon meet "Dance Floor Will Keffler." Whether you know him now or not, look forward to seeing Will on the dance floor at our wedding!
