Our dog Stella was certified last year as a visitation therapy dog through Canine Therapy Corps. CTC is a fully volunteer organization of over 100 dog owners and their dogs who provide goal-directed or visitation pet therapy around the Chicago area, free of charge.

In September 2024, we were lucky to find and adopt Stella through Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc. Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc., is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing for the rescue, care, and adoption of Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs in need.
