Norfolk International Airport

Located less than 100 miles north of the Outer Banks, the Norfolk International Airport is the most popular major airport for OBX visitors. Featuring major carriers like Delta, United, American, Southwest, Frontier, Allegiant, and more, Norfolk International flies direct to destinations across the nation. Plan for a two-hour drive from this airport to our event home in Corolla (or 90 minutes if you choose to stay in the more southern towns of Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, or Nags Head).

Rental Cars

On-site rental car reservation desks are located in the Arrivals Terminal on Level 1. Hours of operation: 4:30 AM until last arriving flight nightly. Rental car pickup is located on Level G – Garage A. Rental car return is located on Level 2 – Garage A. The use of off-road vehicles (ORVs) is a long-standing way for visitors to enjoy the Seashore’s ocean beaches and soundside waters. Don't want to rent a car? Schedule a pick-up with Coastal Transportation to shuttle you from Norfolk International Airport (ORF) to your hotel or rental!

Stay 6.8 miles from our wedding venue in this beautiful oceanfront hotel with beach access and indoor and outdoor pools. We recommend booking here ASAP, as there is not an option for us to reserve a block of rooms. In case your plans change, rest assured that there is a full refund if you cancel 48 hours before your reservation. We will be running a complimentary shuttle from this hotel to our venue between 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Note: There are no dog-friendly rooms available here.

Stay 1.8 miles from our wedding venue in this quaint, dog-friendly, waterfront inn. Reservation includes free loaner bikes, free parking, free breakfast, and full use of the amenities of the Corolla Light Village Resort! If this is where you’d like to stay, we recommend booking ASAP, as there are only 42 rooms total and no option for us to reserve a block. In case your plans change, there is a full refund if you cancel 7 days before your reservation. We will be running a complimentary shuttle from this inn to our venue between 3:45 PM - 11:00 PM.

Wedding Day Shuttle

November 4, 2022 3:30 pm - 11:00 pm

On the day of the wedding, we'll be continuously running a 23-passenger shuttle between our venue, the Inn at Corolla, and the Hampton Inn & Suites. We recommend getting on the earliest available departure (3:30 PM for Hampton Inn-ers and 3:45 PM for Corolla Inn-ers) so as not to delay the ceremony!

Campsites for our #VanLife-ers

For our adventurous friends road-tripping in their camper vans, we highly recommend Oregon Inlet Campground. Located on the ocean side, separated from the beach by barrier dunes, choose from 107 available sites (47 with RV hookups). Running water and flush toilets are available throughout the campground year-round. OBX Campground in Kill Devil Hills is another great option!
