We are having an unplugged ceremony. This just means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during our ceremony. Why? Well, we hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments. But, don't worry our officiant will announce a "photo minute" which will allow you to take photos or videos during that time frame. After the ceremony we encourage our guests to take as many photos and videos as you'd like during our reception. Please just share your photos to our shared wedding album or to social media with the hashtag #PermanentlyParkerson so we can keep track of all your pictures! Feel free to text us photos as well so we have something to look forward too the morning after :)
We'd love to see our friends & family get dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal dress code for our evening. This means semi formal or formal dresses, gowns, suit and tie encouraged, sports coats, dress pants etc NO JEANS, PLEASE! Please no white/ivory clothing, lets leave that for the bride, preferably darker tones would be nice, nothing too bright. Please consider that the ceremony will be outside in February and it might still be cold or chilly
We are only allowing children in the bridal party, unless otherwise listed on your invitation. We'd love our friends and family to be able to enjoy a carefree evening / weekend with us.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you receive a plus one they’ll appear under your name when you RSVP.
If you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way. A contribution to our honeymoon would really make our day. We have cash funds listed on our website and will have a wishing well for cards at our reception as well as a honeymoon QR code. We thank you in advance for any contributions, we greatly appreciate it!

Ceremony is at 5pm! Please arrive early enough to ensure you are seated before the ceremony starts.
Please check under the travel section. We have a few room blocks at hotels all within 20 mins of our venue. We do recommend if you're planning to arrive early or stay the weekend after our wedding to consider staying closer to our home in Kingwood, Porter or Humble. As we live about 40 mins from venue.
Please let us know with your RSVP so we can accommodate your special dietary needs. But there will be vegetarian options, yes.
Yes, we will be serving appetizers during cocktail hour, dinner and have an an open bar, dessert table as well as a possible late night snack.
