We actually met through the drifting community in South Florida. We started out as friends, acquaintances really. He was the "tall boy" that always showed up to parties of mine. It was my 23rd birthday party at Americas Backyard a club downtown and he brought some friends, one who actually asked me out on a date. I agreed to this date but it was so incredibly awkward so I told Rob how I felt and he suggested I give him a second chance possibly in a group setting this time, so we both brought a couple of our close friends and we all met up at Round Up (a country dance club, out of all places) But that night it was Rob and I that really connected. So much so that my best friend Freddy, texted me from across the room that "R=Better" He noticed the chemistry between Rob and I and was basically letting me know I was on the date with the wrong guy. We ended the night at ihop where we ended up taking our very first picture together. Shortly after we started dating, our first date was a walk on Hollywood beach getting to know each other and pizza at Tonys Pizza after about 4 months in we both said I love you and became pretty inseparable but as most of you know we only dated for about two years before we sadly broke up but of course we always remained good friends. The Parkerson and Comprosky family were always so welcoming to me and took me in on many occasions & for holidays when I couldn't be with my own family. I've always felt apart of his family. Rob's job eventually moved him out to Texas and we both dated other people. After a few years of wrong relationships it made us both realize what we truly wanted and that was each other! I came out to visit him in Houston in 2016 and fell in love all over again with him and the city.. so in April 2017 I packed up my small studio apartment and moved out to Houston to live with him where we eventually got our home, our dog Obi and got engaged in June 2021 after hiking up to Lake Colchuck in Washington. Now here we are planning our wedding day with all of you!!
