Where should we park?

Answer

The best places to park would be at the Marriott (they have an underground parking garage) or the Grove St parking garage (right behind the Hopcat). Both are close to the ceremony and reception venues and are covered in case of snow!

How should I dress for the occasion?

Answer

The bride and groom ask that you dress in semi-formal attire - this could include cocktail dresses, floor length gowns, suit and tie, dressy pant suits, etc (no jeans/tee shirts/sneakers please).

Is there a break in between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 2pm at St. John's Parish. Cocktail hour will begin at 5pm across the street at the Marriott. The ceremony will likely conclude around 3pm which leaves approximately an hour and a half to 2 hours in between. If you're coming in from out of town and are staying at the Marriott, you can use this time to relax in your room, enjoy a drink at the bar in the Marriott, walk around MSU's beautiful campus (weather permitting!) or grab a drink at one of the local bars on the block! Can we bring our kids?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, find a sitter for the evening so you can let your hair down and enjoy yourself! [Family from out of town are the exception - this will be indicated on your invite.]
