What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Due to our ceremony site facing the entrance to the property, the entrance gate will be locked at 4:20 PM, and NO ENTRY will be permitted once the gate is closed. We respectfully request that all guests arrive early and be seated by 4:15 PM. Guests who arrive after 4:20 PM will unfortunately not be admitted until the conclusion of the ceremony, at which point they are welcome to join us for the cocktail hour. Your punctuality is sincerely appreciated, and we thank you for helping us begin this special moment on time.

Are kids invited?

As much as we love your kiddos, outside of our adorable baby nephew, we're keeping this celebration adults-only. Think of it as a night off—dress up, enjoy a cocktail (or two), and dance like no one’s watching! We so appreciate you making arrangements and celebrating with us. **Please only RSVP for the guests listed on the invitation**

What is the dress code?

Please reference the Attire section part of our website for photo inspiration. In celebration of our special day, we kindly ask our guests to join us in wearing classic ALL black cocktail attire (excluding men’s white dress shirts, which are okay). Black Suits or tuxedos for men; tea length or cocktail dresses with added flair for the women. **Please, no denim jeans or brightly colored clothing** Come as fancy as you please—just as long as it’s black.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

We plan to have the ceremony and reception outside. However, cocktail hour will be inside, and access to the venue will continue throughout the entire evening.

Are there hotels or accommodations nearby?

Answer

We have 20 rooms blocked off for family and friends who need accommodations at the hotel below. In order to book, please call 205-668-6565 and mention that you are booking for the Perkins Wedding or go to the link below.
