Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Sara Young and Drew Parrish
Our wedding party will consist of our two beautiful children, Holton and Gracen and the Father of the Bride, Gary Young. Our children were in tears of joy when finding out their wishes were coming true, that is after first being awkward little kiddos. They are thrilled to walk down the isle and hold our hands as we bind our love, names and family for all time. Please meet our family and those we honor greatly in our lives.

Holton "Punkin" Smith

Best Man

Holton is the old Son of the Bride. He has a witty personality and a knack for facts, science and gaming. Holton often replies to "Punkin or Punk" a nickname given by mom which is short for "my pumpkin". Punkin is your typical boy, often saying "cause we're men" something he has taken after Drew, but he wears his heart out on his sleeve and cares deeply for those around him.

Gracen " Boo" Parrish

Maid of Honor

Gracen is the Daughter of the Groom. She is a sassy girl, that loves the outdoors, gaming and drawing. Gracen also goes by "Boo" which is a nickname passed down from her dad, who was the original "Boo". Boo is known for being a tough girl who will occasionally act shy however, once she loves you, she loves you big.

Gary Young

Father of the Bride

Gary is a loving huband, a doting father of three children and PopPop of five grandbabies. You will more often than not catch Gary in his wood shop or at the crafting table creating beautiful novelties and functional art.

Stacy Jones Bennefield

Mother of the Groom

Stacy is a loving mother of two, and Mimi to six grandbabies. She also shares a beautiful life with her partner in crime Dudley Potter. She enjoys a quite country life with family, flowers and her small farm.

Susan Young

Mother of the Bride

Susan is a loving wife, an adoring mother of three children and Mema to five grandbabies. Susan is often found crafting by herself or with the granddbabies, gaming or caring for her chickens.

Larry David Parrish

Father of the Groom

Larry David Parrish, Father of the Groom, whose presence is missed and deeply felt on this special day. Though you aren't here to join in the celebration, the memories and moments you created continue to resonate. Your influence on the groom’s life is evident, and the impact you made is still appreciated. As we gather to mark this occasion, we honor your role in shaping the path that led us here. Though his song has ended, the melody lingers on. We miss and love you.

Katherine Collins

Officiant

Katherine has been the best friend of the Mother of the Bride since 1983. Katherine has played a vital role in the lives of the bride and her siblings since the early 90's. She has been graced with the name of "Aunt Kathy" in their lives, as there is no other term for the endearment they hold for her. When Gary Young, Father of the Bride, met Susan Ann Flint, Mother of the Bride, they were in love and they turned to Katherine to wed them, which isn't the only role she played in their love story. On June 26, 1996, Katherine married Gary Nathan Young and Susan Ann Flint. They have remained ever growing inlove since. We couldn't think of anyone better to turn to than Katherine to bind our love and our families together.

Lesley Marie Young

Honored Loved One

As we gather to celebrate this special day, we carry with us the memory of someone dearly missed, Lesley Marie Young. Though she is not physically here with us, her spirit and love continue to be an integral part of our lives. Lesley was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and joy, touching everyone she met with her generous heart and unwavering support. Her laughter, wit and wisdom were gifts that enriched our lives in countless ways. On this day of new beginnings, we feel her absence deeply but also sense her presence in the love that surrounds us. We know that if Lesley were here, she would be the first to celebrate and share in our happiness. Her memory lives on in the values she embodied, her children Grayson and Emilee and her Husband Andrew Young and the love she gave so freely. Today, we honor her by cherishing those values and carrying her legacy forward in our hearts. Lesley, your love and guidance continue to inspire us, and we wish you could be here to witness this joyful occasion. As we embark on this new chapter, we carry you with us, always.

Warren" Woo Woo" Flint

Honored Loved One

On this momentous occasion, we hold close the memory of a truly remarkable man, father, husband and grandfather, Warren “Woo Woo” Flint. His absence is felt deeply, yet his spirit is ever-present in our hearts. Woo Woo was not just a dedicated police officer, but a loving grandfather who made each summer unforgettable. Together with Grandma; whom we affectionately referred to as simply Mary, together they created a world of wonder and joy for us, weaving a tapestry of cherished memories. Those trips were more than summer vacations; they were the threads that bound our family together. Woo Woo's kindness, resilience, strong will, humor and devotion were constants in our lives, and his legacy lives on in the stories we share and the love we carry forward. We know that Woo Woo would be filled with pride and joy to see us gathered here, celebrating this new chapter in our lives. His impact on us is immeasurable, and we strive to honor his memory in all that we do. When meeting Drew via facetime it was the most touching, innocent and precious moments to witness. He knew Drew was a fine match, handsome and a voice like country butter. He wished he could have met him in person but relished in the moments we shared and with peace, Woo Woo gave his blessing. Woo Woo, though you’re not with us in person, we celebrate you today and every day, cherishing the lessons you taught us and the family bonds you helped create.

Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Young

Honored Loved One

In loving memory of Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Young, Nana to the Bride, who is forever in our hearts on this special day. Nana was a beacon of love, warmth, and discipline, always devoted to son, Gary Young and his family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her family, and her beloved dog, Peanut. Her guiding spirit, wisdom, and spunky presence shaped our lives in countless ways. Though she is no longer with us, her memory lives on in the stories we share, the lessons she taught us, and the love she offered so generously. As we celebrate today, we honor her legacy and hold her close in our hearts, grateful for the profound impact she had on each of us. Nana, you are dearly remembered, and your spirit continues to guide and inspire us.
