Matron of Honor
Sister of the Bride Meghan's sister and first friend, Samantha has been Meghan's giggle twin and closest friend throughout their whole lives. From tucking Meghan in as a tot, to bringing Meghan to college to hang out with her college friends, to giving her stamp of approval the first time she met Kevin, Sam has been a constant stream of love and support in Meghan's life. Meghan was lucky enough to stand next to her sister when she married her husband, Mark, and cannot wait for Sam to stand next to her as she marries Kevin.
Best Man
Brother of the groom “The King of Costumes” “The Funniest Person You’ll Ever Know” - These are just some of the titles Tom has given himself over the years. Tom is Kevin’s younger brother and the middle of the Fitzgerald brothers…and he won’t let you forget that (even though he was the youngest for 11 years). Being brothers, Kevin and Tom had to learn how to share. They shared a room for 18 years, college for 2 years, an apartment for 3 years, and multiple groups of friends. You can most likely find Tommy at the center of the dance floor screaming the words of “Unwritten” to whoever is in arm’s reach.
Bridesmaid
Corinne and Meghan met as freshman at Wagner College where they bonded over their similar upbringings, right down to the chaotic junk drawer. Since college, they've been able to live together and have shared many memories, including traveling from Citi Field to Jersey City with leftover (free) Shake Shack that they packed for lunch the next day. The Queen of Miller Lite, Corinne sees the best in every person she meets; she also does a mean worm, so watch out on the dance floor.
Groomsman
Brother of the groom Johnny is the youngest of the Fitzgerald brothers. He is also Kevin’s godson and Kevin’s football stadium partner. The two are traveling across the country to see every NFL stadium, and are already planning their trips for the next season. As the youngest of three, Johnny has a lot of protection…especially when it comes to convincing Mom and Dad to let him stay home from school, or when he needs to get home from a party.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlin and Meghan met their freshman year at Wagner College and quickly became fast friends. They spent countless nights crying over Grey's Anatomy, eating sushi, and impulse buying small animals that were definitely not allowed in campus dorms. Kait recently moved back to the northeast after receiving her Ph.D. at Baylor University in Texas. The only things bigger than her brain are her heart and her smile!
Groomsman
Cousin of the groom Kevin and Joe have been told that were very similar - both super laid back and go with the flow. Their moms would call them Bill and Ted for years. Kevin spent many days, nights and dollars on MegaBus rides visiting Joe at Penn State. Perhaps their biggest adventure was Ireland. From getting lost in Galway in the pouring rain, while their moms waited at the AirBnB with McDonald’s, to getting separated and lost in Dublin in the middle of the night with just a few hours before their flight home.
Bridesmaid
Macky and Meg have known each other since they were little guppies first starting to swim in ESA. Although they started out competing against each other, by the time high school rolled around, they were thick as thieves and channeled their intense competitive energy toward the same goal. Like flooding the boys locker room and pulling other pranks and hijinks. Even though they have not lived in the same city as each other since high school, Meg and Mack always find time to see each other and add to their memories together.
Groomsman
Cousin of the groom Jack is the youngest of the “older group” of the Fitzgerald/Mandala cousins, but he was always with us - like when Kevin was 17 and Jack was 11 and they went to go see Eminem and Jay Z at Yankee Stadium with Tom and Joe and not a single parent. You would think an 11 year old with a Justin Bieber haircut and about 27 Livestrong bracelets up his arm wouldn’t be comfortable walking into that concert, but there Jack was leading the charge.
Bridesmaid
Lucy and Meghan met at Pitt Law where they focused on studying darts. From teaching Constitutional Law to high schoolers, to mapping out solitary confinement cells at Bootleggers, to studying for the Bar, Lucy and Meghan were always up to something. Everyone who meets Lucy agrees, "I love Lucy!"
Groomsman
Cousin of the groom Eddie “Dino” Mandala is closest in age to Kevin out of the Fitzgerald/Mandala family. “Dino” was added because for years Eddie was convinced that was his name. Like when Kevin and Eddie did Zoo Camp when they were kids, Eddie literally told everyone to call him Dino. Now, Eddie is Kevin and Meghan’s neighbor in Bay Ridge. At the wedding, you’ll probably find Eddie with a pink lemonade & vodka in his hand.
Bridesmaid
Jenn and Meghan met at Pitt Law. They were in different classes their first year, but second year, they found themselves in Happy Valley for the Pitt vs. Penn State game. Their friendship was solidified as they chanted "Let's Go Pitt" over and over despite the many boos that were hurled their way. Small, but mighty, Jenn is the fiercest advocate and friend you could have in your corner.
Groomsman
Cousin of the groom Nick is Kevin’s Marvel confidant. At any family party, you will most likely find Kevin and Nick talking about some superhero movie/TV show and spewing their theories or predictions. Real nerd stuff. When it was time for Kevin to get his new 21 year old ID, Nick was the lucky recipient of Kevin’s old ID - even though I’m pretty sure the Irish Haven did not care.
Bridesmaid
Katie is Meghan's (much younger) lifelong friend. Like Melissa, she is the daughter of one of Robin's best friends and the girls have all been friends since they can remember. They've made countless memories on OBX trips with their families and eventually started inviting themselves on the mom trips. Always smiling, Katie is the first person to hype you up and encourage any idea (good or bad.)
Groomsman
Brother of the bride The first time Kevin met Ben was New Year's Eve of 2021. Meghan and Kevin had just started the talking phase of their relationship. When midnight came and Meghan and Kevin had their first New Year's Eve kiss, Ben went to bed...not happy. "Who is that guy?!" "Why are you kissing him?!" It definitely was not a great first impression, but thankfully that changed as time went on.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Meghan have been lifelong friends, just like their moms, Patti and Robin. Melissa can always be counted on to have the latest celebrity tea and great fashion and book recommendations. Most famous for her work on the air-conditioning in Disney's EPCOT Norway and America pavilions, Melissa is also known for her quick wit and dad jokes.
Groomsman
Kevin met Mike on the first day of orientation at Manhattan College. First impression? Kevin thought Mike was a total weirdo because he sat alone and didn't speak all weekend. Turns out Mike had the flu. They met again on freshman move in day and found out they would be teammates on the swim team. They lived together sophomore year and Kevin practically lived in Mike's apartment the rest of college.
Something Blue
Erin and Meghan first met on their recruiting trip to Wagner College, which started a lifelong friendship. They've shared many memories, including Christmas trips to Washington Township and Holyoke St. Patrick's trips to visit Kara. Our resident crafter, if you can think it, Erin can craft it into a reality!
Usher
Kevin met Joe in summer/fall of 2016 after the move to Breezy Point - all thanks to Joe’s soon-to-be wife, Lauren. After bus rides to Long Beach and down to PNC for concerts, Kevin quickly gave himself the position of third wheel in Joe and Lauren’s relationship whether they liked it or not.
Something Blue
Maggie and Meghan were roommates for their first two years at Wagner. During their time as roommates, they enjoyed turning their beds into trundles, building a nearly deadly bunk bed, and looking for escaped hamsters before 5 AM practices (ok, maybe Meghan enjoyed this more than Maggie).
Usher
Despite both being originally from Brooklyn, Kevin didn’t meet Matt until the move to Breezy. They had several mutual connections, but their paths never crossed. They quickly bonded over people watching on Ocean Avenue beach and at the Sugar Bowl. If you're having a hard time finding Matt at the wedding, just listen for the loudest singing voice on the dance floor.
Something Blue
Logan and Meghan were in the same section their first year of law school and bonded over their mutual obsession with their dogs. Their third year, Logan graciously offered Meghan a room in the apartment she shared with her brother. They became a little family with their three dogs and spent most nights watching Forensic Files or playing trivia at Hem's over some cloggin fries.
Usher
Steven and Kevin went to Xaverian together and despite having some mutual friends, their paths hardly ever crossed - except on the lacrosse field. Kevin just wanted to join the team to hang out with some friends, but Steven was an actual player. After high school, Kevin and Steven reconnected in Breezy Point, where they reminisce over some of their teachers and classmates and how differently they both treated lacrosse.
Ring Bearer
Cousin of the groom Jonathan is the Lego master. If you give him a box of Legos, you can bet that the entire thing will be done in record time. You wouldn't know that Jonathan is the youngest of the 15 Fitzgerald/Mandala grandchildren. He is one of the funniest and most mature kids out there. He will have you laughing all day long.
