We met at a Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp baseball game in August of 2017. Complete strangers who happened to be sitting right next to each other; I was with my friend and Ray with his group of rowdy sailors. After a few beers (did I mention it was a Thirsty Thursday?), Ray asked for my number. The caveat- I only agreed to give him my number if he could remember my name. I guess you could say the rest is history! We've shared so many memories- trips all over the world, a lot of "see you laters," and a few more Thirsty Thursdays! On July 27, 2021, after spending 398 consecutive days apart, Ray proposed in front of The Duomo, Santa Maria del Fiore, in Florence, Italy. My dream man on one knee, with my dream ring, in one of my favorite cities in Italy! We are so excited to celebrate with all our friends and family in April. It hasn't been an easy journey, but we truly couldn't have done it without all of your love and support!
