Eldora Mountain Resort
Just 40 minutes from Boulder, Eldora is your no-frills, all-thrills local ski spot with gorgeous views and a laid-back vibe. In addition to downhill runs, it’s home to one of Colorado’s best Nordic centers, with miles of scenic cross-country and snowshoe trails. It’s the perfect place to play in the snow—without battling I-70 traffic.

It’s the cool, creative side of the city—perfect for wandering with a coffee (or a beer) in hand. Tennyson Tennyson Street in Berkeley neighborhood is a vibrant mix of indie charm and crave-worthy eats. Grab a gourmet slice at Hops & Pie, or follow the smoky scent to Post Oak for Texas-style brisket that melts in your mouth.
