On the way home from a girls’ trip to Crested Butte in October 2021, Tessa confided in her friend Dani that she was ready to meet someone new. Dani, the ultimate hype- and wing-woman, started a group chat the next day that included Andrew. After meeting for drinks at Rosetta Hall in Boulder, Tessa and Andrew continued texting separately. As the months went by, and texts led to spending every day together, they finally admitted that they were more than friends. In May 2022, Tessa and Andrew graduated with their MBAs from University of Colorado Boulder and moved to Denver, where they started new jobs, added Otto to the family, and began building a life together. A few short years later (or what felt like eternity if you ask Tessa), Andrew popped the question on the shore of Turquoise Lake in the Colorado Rockies.
