Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, only the guests listed on your invitation will be able to attend. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear on the website when you RSVP. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate additional guests due to space limitations.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception will both be adults-only celebrations, other than the flower girls and ring bearer. We hope this advance notice gives you time to make arrangements and we appreciate your understanding!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 17. If we do not receive a response by then, we will assume you are unable to attend. If your plans change after this date, please contact the bride or groom directly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 PM at the church. In order to prevent disrupting the service, we will not be able to welcome guests once the ceremony has begun. We recommend arriving by 2:00 PM to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass and will last about one hour.

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

We expect the ceremony to conclude around 3:30 PM. The reception gates will open at 4:00 PM, and cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM. The reception venue is about a five-minute drive from the church. Please note that guests will not be able to enter the venue before 4:00 PM, so we invite you to enjoy the time in between, such as grabbing a cappuccino or martini at Rabalais or a cold beer at The Draft.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, street parking is available, along with a small parking lot behind the church. For the reception, there is a large parking lot on site. Please note that cars cannot be left overnight, so we kindly ask guests to plan transportation accordingly. Uber and Lyft are available, though service may be limited as the venue is outside of town.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is garden formal. Suits or sport coats for men, and cocktail or long dresses for women are encouraged. Since the reception will be held on grass, thicker heels are recommended. We would love to see guests embrace color and floral prints to complement the garden setting!

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. Our professional photographers and videographers will be capturing our day. To help maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the church, we also ask that phones be put away and set to silent. During the reception, feel free to take as many photos as you like!
