FAQs

Here are commonly asked questions and their answers! If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to the couple. Thanks!
Question

What last name will the couple be taking?

Answer

Percy and Salem decided to create their own last name! Meet the De La Luna Family! They wanted to honor Percy's Mexican heritage and were inspired the phrase "to the moon and back", which Salem tells Percy daily.

Question

Can guests bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited space of our venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are kids invited to the ceremony?

Answer

As much as we love little one (Percy works at a kid's museum), we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of children in our immediate family and children traveling with parents. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Question

What attire should I wear?

Answer

Trust us when we say that this wedding is not a traditional one! Enter into our world of fantasy and wonder! Feel free to express your creative side as come as whimsical version of yourself. For example, Percy will be donning a knight's attire. Think renaissance fair outfits! If fantasy is not up your alley, you are more than welcome to come in a cocktail theme.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by September 15th, 2023. If you cannot attend, we will miss you, and would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Those that do not RSVP by September 15th, 2023, we are so sorry you cannot make it! If you miss this date, we may be unable to accommodate your presence at the wedding as we will send final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Question

Will there by alcohol served?

Answer

Due to the couple's personal experiences and preferences with alcohol, this will be a dry event. We ask that you respect our wishes and boundaries and do not bring any alcohol with you. We will have other beverages available for guests.

Question

Is seating random?

Answer

For the ceremony, sit wherever you please. However, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are seated with those they know and their partner. We know weddings are a mixing pot of guests who may not know one another, and we want to ease any anxieties for guests who may be a bit more introverted. Hopefully, this can put some of you at ease!
