Welcome to the De La Luna Wedding!

While still in lockdown, we each decided to download Bumble in hopes of finding a connection. Salem caught Percy's eye with the soft, plant dad aesthetic and Salem fell for Percy's punk and dog pictures. Less than 15 minutes later, they had a first date plan. A personal record for both! What was meant to be a quick boba trip and an art museum date turned into a 9 hour conversation at Hella Bubble and Wingstop. (A year and a half later we finally went to the art museum!) Topics ranged from career goals, high school stories, favorite cave creature sounds, queer rights, and everything in between. By the time we checked our phones, the art museum was closed! Time really did stand still for us. Percy went home with a smile so big, his face was sore the next day. Salem went home feeling much the same way. Two weeks later after their second date to a local aquarium, Percy asked Salem to officially be their joyfriend. And the rest was history!
