Question

Is the wedding going on as planned?

Answer

Our wedding plans will continue as planned. We are THRILLED to celebrate in person with you but we understand that many elements of this occasion need to be revamped to protect everyone to our best ability.

Question

What precautions are we taking to help keep guests safe while celebrating and enjoying themselves?

Answer

We are following the direction of the Maine CDC by using their checklist for large social gatherings to provide an event that we can all stay safe and have fun at. For example... 1. We are limiting the number of guests to 100 guests at the outside ceremony and 50 guests at the inside reception, as stated by the Governor's Executive Order. 2. Face Coverings will be encouraged when social distancing is not possible. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside with appropriate social distancing. 3. We will be providing face masks to guests that do not have one with them if they can wear one. 3. All vendors will be wearing masks and will be following the guidelines set by the Maine CDC for safe service. 4. We will be providing hand sanitizer at each table and other various locations around the event. 5. We will have disinfectants available for any and all surfaces or shared items such as microphones, games, etc. 6. The reception is an open barn and will be ventilated well.

Question

Are you going to be screening guests for symptoms?

Answer

Yes, we will be screening all guests and vendors in attendance using the screening tools provided by the Maine CDC. We will have two masked wedding party members stationed at the entrance from the parking lot and will be screening and taking guest temperatures with a contactless infrared temporal thermometer. All guests will be required to be screened before entrance.

Question

Do you need to be COVID-19 before attendance?

Answer

Getting swabbed before the event is highly advisable and would be greatly appreciated, though it is not required. If you do get tested please feel free to share your results with us, as this will provide more ease of mind to ourselves and other attending guests. Though there are not many, guests that are traveling from out of state will be required to be tested and will need to receive their results prior to but as close to the event as possible.
