Do you have a dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

Garden Elegance: Help us fill the Victorian Belle Mansion with summer color! We’d love to see our guests in chic summer attire—florals, breathable fabrics, and soft summer hues are highly encouraged. Dress to impress, but prioritize your comfort so we can celebrate all afternoon in the summer heat. Events will be both in the mansion and in the surrounding garden areas.

What is Portland weather like in late July?

Answer

In late July, you can expect Portland to be at its peak summer warmth with very little chance of rain. Historically, daily high temperatures during the final week of July average 80°F, while evening lows sit comfortably around 54°F. Bring a light layer for later in the evening!

Can I invite a Plus One not included in my wedding invitation?

Answer

All guests have been sent an official invite. This will be an intimate gathering, we appreciate your understanding!

Will the venue be serving alcohol?

Answer

Guests will receive two drink tickets for use at the complimentary bar. You may purchase additional beverages at your discretion. Please consider bringing a little cash for bartender tips!

Does the venue accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

We have strived to create a menu with a variety of choices for vegetarians, pescetarians, gluten free and vegan guests. The venue does not allow outside food or beverages so please reach out to us with any specific concerns.

Do you have a social media hashtag for wedding photos I post online?

Answer

First and foremost, please be mindful of the official photographer at our event. Don't be the person snapping pics in front of their lens! That said, we welcome any photos you capture to include the tag #pencebroderwedding so we can see everyone's posts easily after the wedding.

Are you having a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Our wedding party will be attending a separate rehearsal at the venue but this is not an official event. Guest attendance is only expected on Sunday, July 26th.
