Things To Do

Whether you are taking your time coming up the coast or going back, here are a few things we love to do along the way.
Timber Cove Resort

Timber Cove Resort

21780 North Coast Highway 1, Jenner, CA 95450
, (707) 847-3231

We encourage you to enjoy everything Timber Cove Resort has to offer on site. Take advantage of the beautiful scenery surrounding Timber Cove with a hike along the 2 miles of trails across the property and the neighboring beach. Or, kick back with your feet up next to the ocean side fire pit and take in the stunning coastal views.

Salt Point State Park

Salt Point State Park

25050 California 1, Jenner, CA 95450
, (707) 847-3221

5 minutes north of Timber Cove you'll find a state park that has all the coast has to offer: rocky promontories, kelp-dotted coves and pygmy forests. With 20 miles of hiking trails, six miles of rugged coastline, you can enjoy a variety of picnicking, hiking, horseback riding, and fishing.

Pomo Canyon Trail

Pomo Canyon Trail

Pomo Canyon Trail, Duncans Mills, CA 95430

Annie's favorite coastal hike. A bit of an incline to start, but the epic Pacific views are worth it! Once you've reached the top, you enter a canyon high above the Russian River. You can make it as long or short of a hike as you want to.

Goat Rock State Beach - Sonoma Coast State Park

Goat Rock State Beach - Sonoma Coast State Park

One of our favorite beaches and hiking destinations along the coast!

Sea Ranch

Sea Ranch

Sea Ranch, CA 95480

Sea Ranch is known for its rustic ocean vistas, rugged beaches, and environmentally-minded architecture that blends into the natural environment. They also have great tide pools!

Cafe Aquatica

Cafe Aquatica

10439 California 1, Jenner, CA 95450
, (707) 865-2251

Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a pastry along the Russian River at this fun and funky cafe. Have some spare time? Rent a kayak nearby and head up the mouth of the Russian River. https://www.watertreks.com/

Wild Flour Bread

Wild Flour Bread

140 Bohemian Highway, Freestone, CA 95472
, (707) 874-2938

Don't feel like driving the coast? Wild Flour is a must for our favorite bread in California! Pro-tip: stop at one of the nearby goat farms to pick up some cheese first. Then go to Wild Flour for the bread. Pair the two while eating in Wild Flour's backyard garden!

Hog Island Oyster Co

Hog Island Oyster Co

20215 Shoreline Highway, Marshall, CA 94940
, (415) 663-9218

Enjoy a picnic of oysters caught right there in Tomales Bay. Make sure to reserve a picnic table ahead of time if you plan to visit over the weekend. Don't forget to explore nearby Pt. Reyes Station too.

For all the days along the way
