No, children are not invited. Our children will be there because we had them before we got married :-) You will see our nieces and nephews but we appreciate you for getting childcare. Let us know if you need help with that. We hope that you will have a great time being a free grown up who can dress up, eat, drink, and sleep in.
Friday, you are invited but not required to wear all or partly white (or cream/ivory). Saturday, for the wedding, please wear formal dresses or suits in royal purple, emerald or deep green, ruby or deep red, or sapphire or deep blue, navy, or black. To make this easier, the bride-signer has curated a Pinterest board of links to over 80 dresses (and growing!) at all price points, modesty styles, shapes and sizes if you need help or inspiration: https://pin.it/69M7hRtZY It's fine if your outfit has a pattern as long as it is in the color scheme. If you are worried about wearing the same dress as someone else, tell the bride what you get and it will be removed from Pinterest or add a comment on the board. And if you need more personalized help, just let her know and she will find you something you like. You can find it here soon. Sunday morning, roll out of bed in whatever suits you.
There is no registry for our wedding because we know how expensive it is to attend a wedding whether you are paying for flight, hotel, parking, and/or babysitters. We are moved that you are spending your precious vacation time / weekend and resources to celebrate our wedding with us.
The ceremony is outdoors. The cocktail hour is a mix of indoors and outdoors. The reception is indoors. Expected temperatures during the ceremony are 64-67 degrees.
I have used Glamsquad (download the app or go to www.glamsquad.com) They send hair and makeup artists to you.
Yes, please. We understand you might need to step out to check on a child but otherwise we invite you to take a sabbatical from electronics and have a good time. We ask that no one post pictures or videos from the wedding until after we have shared.
