As stated on the invite and this website, we ask guests to be at the venue by 5:30 p.m. to beat DFW traffic and have enough time to find seats. We gave a 30-minute grace period for those coming out of town, so doors would close at 6 p.m., and you would not be admitted even if it was 6:01 p.m.
Yes, children are allowed! We ask that your children be respectful and quiet during the ceremony and play outside if they want to run around during the reception. Our venue, nestled in a secure and respected community, boasts a spacious outdoor area. This ensures a safe environment where no one trips over, runs into, or hurts your child. We are not responsible for any damages caused by your child, and you will be held accountable if such damage occurs.
We are going for a country theme, and you are in Texas. This means that boots are always a safe bet. Business casual is preferred. We ask that for women, anything that should be hidden is hidden and that you don't wear a white dress. White dresses will be subjected to red wine. You have been warned. Men, please be respectable in your outfit choice. This means no sagging, your shirt stays on your body, and no prints that are disrespectful on your clothes (i.e., gang signs, nudity, gore, curse words, you get the idea). Two good rules of thumb are: If the thought of "Could I get by wearing this?" comes to your mind, the answer is probably "No." And if your grandma doesn't want to see you in it, we don't either.
Yes! Food and drinks are provided, and there will be an open bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A free photo booth and a coffee cart will also be available. The only service that is not free is the trucker hat decorating service.
This is NOT a BYOB event. This is a venue rule that we must follow. If you are caught bringing in alcohol, you will not be allowed entrance. The bride and groom will provide the alcohol. This means that if you have any alcohol requests, please bring it up to the bride and groom at least a week in advance. Please note that there will be NO SHOTS OF ANY KIND. We are very sorry for the emphasis. This is a venue rule that we must all adhere to. If there are any shots, you will be asked to leave. Thank you for respecting and following these rules. By doing so, you allow us to continue to have an excellent and smooth time, and you won't be the talk of not one but two families.
Yes, you can, BUT only in the designated spaces which are located outside.
No, they do not.
We believe you won't break or damage property that is not yours; however, in case of this, we will ask you to pay the cost to fix or replace the damaged property.
The reception ends after the bride and groom leave. Guests must leave the premises within the following hour. (i.e., If the happy couple leaves at 10 p.m., guests need to be off of the property by 11 p.m.)
